OMAHA, Neb. (May 9, 2025) — Kirsch Transportation Services, Inc., a family-owned logistics company based in Omaha, is proud to host the new tribute mural honouring the late Charlie Munger, legendary investor and longtime vice chairman of Berkshire Hathaway. The mural, commissioned by financial platform Quartr, was installed on the east-facing wall of Kirsch’s downtown building at 1102 Douglas Street.
The larger-than-life mural celebrates Munger’s enduring legacy of wisdom, ethical leadership and lifelong learning—values that have not only shaped the investing world but continue to inspire the Omaha business community.
“We’re honoured to provide a home for this tribute to Charlie,” said Matthew J. Kirsch, president of Kirsch Transportation Services. “As a family-owned company rooted in Omaha, it’s a privilege to be part of a vibrant business community and help commemorate someone whose values resonate far beyond the boardroom.”
Located just blocks from the CHI Health Center, where Berkshire Hathaway hosts its famed annual shareholder meetings, the mural has already begun drawing visitors from near and far. Kirsch Transportation is encouraging fans, locals, and visitors to stop by, snap a photo, and share it using the hashtag #MungerAndMe.
The artwork features Munger framed within a stylised blue postage stamp—an homage to one of his early business ventures with Warren Buffett—alongside his well-known quote: “Those who keep learning, will keep rising in life.” The mural was designed by local artists Oliver Hamrin and Haris Cehic, with production support from Richard Harrison and A Midsummer’s Mural.
Quartr, the Swedish-based financial content company behind the mural, has called it a “thank you” to one of the world’s greatest thinkers.
“For so many of us, Charlie wasn’t just one of the greatest investors of all time—he gave us a blueprint for how to think clearly, live ethically, and always stay curious,” said Oliver Hamrin, co-founder and Brand Strategist at Quartr.
As the mural becomes a new visual landmark in Omaha, Kirsch Transportation invites all to reflect on the wisdom of one of the city’s most influential figures—and to take a moment to celebrate his legacy.
